YOUR ROLE:

As a pivotal member of a dynamic team of engineers, you will take charge of designing and managing all internal and customer-facing infrastructure and technology systems. Your deep technical expertise across multiple domains—such as Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Networking—will empower you to develop highly innovative, large-scale solutions that ensure our software and infrastructure’s resilience, security, and scalability.
Based in our Sydney HQ, you will collaborate with a global network of technology experts and engage directly with senior business leaders, including C-suite executives, to align our architectural vision with strategic business goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architect and Implement Large-Scale Solutions: Design and deploy scalable, resilient, and secure cloud and on-prem architectures across multiple platforms to support our global operations.
• Optimize Network Performance and Automation: Spearhead initiatives to enhance network performance, automate infrastructure management, and drive efficiencies in our data centres and cloud environments using modern tools & technologies.
• Drive Enterprise-Wide Technology Strategy: Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging the latest advancements in cloud, data centre, and automation technologies.
• Leadership in Innovation and Collaboration: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence while engaging with senior stakeholders to communicate architectural strategies and drive technology adoption.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, cloud engineering, and network management, with a demonstrated ability to lead at scale in a complex, global environment.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-scale architectures, with deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data centre technologies.
• Extensive experience with automation tools and scripting languages, as well as a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Expert-level knowledge of network engineering, including WAN/LAN architecture, SDN, VPNs, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation projects, collaborating with diverse teams and engaging with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
