About the job: Based in Mons, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join The Directorate of CIS Support Units (DCSU) that manages, delivers and maintains assigned Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services for the Agency’s customers including NATO Headquarters (NHQ), the NATO Command Structure (NCS), NATO Force Structure (NFS), Nations and internal Agency users. DCSU provides liaison, planning and coordinating functions for Alliance Missions, Operations and Exercises. Services are delivered in coordination with the Enterprise Service Operations Centre (ESOC) and Agency Business Areas/Service Centres under the Enterprise Service Delivery Model (ESDM). We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Assistant (Resource and Portfolio Management) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities: Contributes to the organization's budget planning cycle and process. Assists in the collection and preparation of required budget information. Supports managers and teams in resourcing and recruitment activities. Coordinates and schedules ongoing workforce planning activities. Takes responsibility for the provision of support to services and projects. Provides administrative support to assigned project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. Engages and collaborates with operational stakeholders as required. About you: The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience. Work experience in administrative and coordination functions, preferably in the areas of financial management, human resources and/or project management. Experience in financial management within a customer-funded environment; Experience in planning, preparation and production of budget submissions; Experience in budget execution and resource management; Experience in preparing, conducting and reporting using statistical sampling methods; Knowledge and experience in enterprise resource planning systems, project management processes, procedures and tools; Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
