WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Cyber Security Risk Management (CSRM) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Principal AWS Data Architect and Engineer for the Cyber Analytics Platform team.
The main responsibility of this role is to act as a hands-on technical leader, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing data solutions for large-scale data lake and analytics platform on AWS, ensuring that the solutions are secure, robust, scalable, reliable, and effective.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, the person in this role will collaborate closely with cloud solution architects, network engineers, analysts, program managers, and other engineering teams to support Cyber Defense Services’ objective to empower the corporation to efficiently identify, detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats for TMNA and Toyota affiliates.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, reliable and effective data solutions on AWS, including data ingestion, ETL pipelines, data storage, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop strategies and best practices for data solutions. Stay current with the latest advancements in related technologies. Identify opportunities, lead, and implement solutions to improve data pipeline performance, enhance data quality, and streamline processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot failure or performance issues in data solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss use cases, requirements, and objectives, developing effective data ingestion and data analytics solutions across the organization and global Toyota affiliates, and ensuring timely delivery of data solution projects.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and best practices.
