We are looking for a NV1 security cleared Principal Engineers, ideally based in Canberra (but anywhere in Australia will be considered), with deep experience in Azure Cloud & DevOps to lead, deliver and support the execution of technical solutions that meet our clients’ needs. We are open to permanent and contract employees- with multiple roles open, we are likely to take a mix of both. 

The role:

  • Act as the lead Engineer for technical client engagements in delivering and overseeing Azure assessments, solutions, and implementations for our client(s)
  • Engineer, advise and implement on appropriate state-of-the-art technical patterns on Azure
  • Provide technical reviews on architecture and design deliverables whilst supporting engagements as a SME.
  • Participate in the consultation between LAB3 and clients to understand strategic business requirements and translate those into effective cloud solutions.
  • Communicate and present discoveries to senior management and executive stakeholders
  • Partner with the Project Managers to provide technical input into scheduling, estimating activities and project delivery
  • Support our pre-sales teams with documentation, design and transformative direction. Help setup proof-of-concept prototypes
  • Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights via workshops, presentations, and reports
  • Run workshops and cloud adoption activities with our customers as necessary.
  • Recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and be a role model to the engineers.
