Cochlear is undertaking a global SAP S4/HANA implementation. The Principal Business Analyst leads the business analysis effort in an Record to Report end-to-end process workstream by advising and influencing stakeholders on proposed solutions, and aligning requirements and processes to the strategic outcomes and benefits of the program. In addition, this role is an expert amongst the transformation program’s BA Practice and works with senior workstream leaders and the BA Practice Lead to build and lead the culture and business analysis capability on the program, mentoring other practitioners, and the development and assurance of high-quality outputs and deliverables.
Accountabilities
- Feasibility Assessment – Evaluating solutions’ impact and benefits to guide strategic decisions.
- Requirements Management – Capturing, managing, and communicating business requirements effectively.
- Acceptance Testing – Ensuring solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Data Modelling – Designing accurate models to represent processes and ensure data integrity.
- Process Modelling – Designing process models and maintaining an end-to-end of the record-to-report business process.
Methods and Tools – Promoting best practices and enhancing business analysis methodologies.
Essential Skills
Core IT business analyst skills:
- requirements elicitation, management, and traceability
- process flow design (ideally using Signavio)
- test script writing and execution
- workshop facilitation and communication skills
- Experience with SAP Finance (S4/Hana) will be highly regarded
- IT project experience
