Department Overview
The Performance Measurement and Controls group, within the Vegetation Management (VM) Organization, supports the execution of programs that maintain state and federally-mandated vegetation clearance along PG&E’s distribution and transmission systems, and the delivery of specific vegetation management programs to reduce the risk, frequency, and consequence of catastrophic wildfires in northern California.

Responsibilities typically include many or all of the following:

  • Lead annual budget development across VM operational budget owners to meet programmatic objectives, budget requirements, and internal and external reporting requirements, and
  • Lead monthly financial performance measurement across VM operational budget owners to identify drivers of variance and mitigations.
  • Develop and maintain cost analysis and control procedures, including procedural documentation and testing protocols, that demonstrate the accuracy of financial information and conformance to PG&E procedures; and
  • Develop and maintain procedures to increase the efficiency of data analysis and presentment to Budget Owners, from data extraction from SAP, through analysis and review with VM operational budget owners

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
