About the Team & Role As a Principal, Business Development on our Payer team, you will own the strategy and execution of new partnerships with leading health plans across the United States. In this role, you will unlock Headway’s expansion, reimagine how mental healthcare networks are built, measured, and curated at scale, and bring affordable mental healthcare to hundreds of thousands of Americans. In this role, you will unlock additional payer coverage to bring affordable mental healthcare to hundreds of thousands of Americans. Lead contract expansion (value-based, line of business) and reimagine how mental healthcare networks are built, measured, and curated at scale. You’d be a great fit if… You have 10+ years of experience in roles where you have owned business development efforts from end-to-end, ideally selling directly to health plans. You have a deep understanding of payer business models and economics. You are a relationship builder, and delight in forging meaningful bonds across all levels of an organization. You thrive in ambiguity, and seek out opportunities to dive into unfamiliar challenges, drive towards outcomes, and shape strategy. You are operationally excellent, able to manage a robust sales funnel and large volume of moving pieces without breaking a sweat. You are motivated by the opportunity to face off against one of our generation’s defining problems: access to mental healthcare. The expected base pay range for this position is $195,200 - $230,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based variable compensation and an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
