JOB OVERVIEW

This role is part of the SFO Shared Services Team, you will have a strong focus on and expected to be a thought leader on establishing new or maturing existing data driven insights associated with Money movement, their reconciliation (recon) and to generate insights on for process improvements and controls for upstream, downstream and within these areas. You will partner extensively with SFO business process owners, product, TDO and other areas within SFO Shared Services Team. All in a matrixed, dynamic, and primarily green field environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience working with SQL technologies (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Query Development)
  • Applicable experience working with data focused technical teams
  • Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company preferred
Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements for data requests and report creation
  • Establishes an understanding of enterprise or functional data elements to be able to assess availability and limitations of deliverables
  • Problem resolution following, facilitating and driving DMAIC framework.
  • Drive development of design, creation and evolution of balanced scorecards for Treasury, Money Movement, Fraud and Collections units.
  • Manages team in identifying and removing impediments and known risks continuously
  • Establishes cross-team and inter-team transparency and communication on scope, goals, milestones, risk, and critical issues
  • Mentors junior business or process analysts
  • Conducts feedback sessions with business owners, project sponsors and team to ensure positive value and overall satisfaction
  • Challenge and guide to generate actionable insights through analytic insights and not spreadsheets of data
  • Connect the dots across different process areas to help provide an outside lens of large value-add solutions that will propel the MM, recon, fraud and collections processes forward
  • Drive and help define and execute the highest value initiatives for SFO and AvidXchange for these areas
  • Guide the implementation of solutions hand in hand with stakeholders and monitor the impact of those solutions
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to use data and make sure it is ingrained in their operational rhythm

  • Comfortable presenting in front of a group of executives or front line teammates using data to lead the conversation
  • Creates board quality PowerPoint presentations and visuals
  • Teaches continuously and is always willing to help
  • Handles crucial conversations with any direct reports and stakeholders
  • Proactively identifies issues and helps the leadership team craft the correct vision for the team
  • Relentless drive to provide support and ensure consistent development of a process excellence mindset within SFO
