Job Overview: The Principal Civil/Structural Designer directly impacts the effectiveness of their team and related team. They exchange ideas and information relating to Civil/Structural Design effectively. They may work autonomously within established Civil/Structural Design procedures and practices. They act as a lead, coordinating the work of others. The Principal Civil/Structural Designer proposes improvements to processes and methods within the Civil/Structural Design discipline. Responsibilities

The Principal Civil/Structural Designer leads the design team, coordinates work, and proposes improvements to discipline processes. They are responsible for executing complex civil and structural designs and participating in expert proposals for CSA work.
