Principal Clinical Psychologist – National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland
To provide a specialised Clinical Psychology service to patients of the National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland. Providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
The post holder will work closely with all members of the specialist Multi-Disciplinary Team involved in delivering the National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland and all clinicians involved in delivering Cleft care across Scotland.
The post holder will also work with relevant clinical groups involved in developing Cleft care across the UK, including the Cleft Clinical Psychology Clinical Excellence Network (CEN).
