Requirements

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural authority across cloud-native, microservices, event-driven and AI-enabled platforms
• Define and govern architecture patterns, engineering standards and technology practices
• Lead the adoption of AI-enabled software development and delivery practices, including responsible AI and AI-assisted SDLC approaches
• Establish and uplift DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, platform engineering and operational excellence practices
• Drive technology modernisation, including microservices adoption, containerisation, enterprise integration and reusable platform patterns
• Influence architecture and engineering decisions across complex technology transformation initiatives
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, delivery partners and senior stakeholders
• Provide technical mentoring, coaching and knowledge transfer to uplift engineering capability and maturity
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation and engineering excellence across distributed teams
• Help establish and evolve enterprise microservices and event-driven architecture capabilities

What You'll Bring

• Extensive experience designing, implementing and governing cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architectures within complex enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in AI engineering and AI-enabled solution delivery, including enterprise AI capabilities, semantic search, machine learning and responsible AI practices
• Strong software and platform engineering capability across modern development frameworks, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and security by design
• Proven experience leading enterprise technology modernisation and transformation initiatives, influencing architecture decisions and delivering measurable improvements
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills, with experience working across senior executives, technical teams, delivery partners and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, EKS or GKE, including platform automation, governance and workload management
• Experience across cloud modernisation, SRE, platform engineering, observability and enterprise-scale automation
• Experience leading Agile delivery teams, including geographically distributed teams, with a focus on coaching and capability uplift
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, reliability and operational excellence in enterprise technology environments
