Solving the great societal challenges of our time is more relevant, demanding and inspiring than ever before. At Sweco, we bring together experts with different perspectives and skills to develop solutions that address the challenges of urbanisation, harness the positive power of digitalisation and make societies more sustainable.
We offer our clients a combination of global expertise and local presence, adapted to their business and reality. Our ambition is to be our clients’ most relevant partner, working together to help them solve their challenges, today and into the future.
Sweco is committed to enabling all its colleagues to achieve a great balance between work and their other priorities, such as caring responsibilities, leisure activities, further learning or other interests. We offer flexible start and finish times, part time and hybrid working options so that you can flex your hours around your day to day needs.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
This is a client facing role with full responsibility for commercial and technical delivery of projects, collaborating with the Sweco Ireland Environmental team and European network of 22,000+ consultants.
As a key player in the Environmental Compliance team, you’ll project manage a range of environmental projects, liaising with clients, regulators and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of environmental deliverables. You’ll provide expert environmental advice relating to environmental assessment and management into design and construction of major infrastructure projects in the private sector.
You will also prepare and submit technical reports including Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR), environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance and research whilst growing Sweco’s presence in environmental consulting and cross selling our multi-disciplinary services along with tendering and winning work. You will work closely with our inhouse teams as well as co-ordinating external sub-consultants where required.
