Description
The Principal Consultant will serve both as a Strategic Advisor and a Technical Project Lead, supporting multinational clients with complex network transformation initiatives. This individual will drive strategy, design, and implementation across global engagements—leading discovery, assessments, and solution design, while ensuring excellence in delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Deliver network strategy and assessment consulting services to global clients. Lead large-scale, multi-national transformation projects involving multiple technologies and vendors. Conduct discovery sessions and requirements gathering (business, technical, and financial). Assess current state architectures and develop solution alternatives and strategic roadmaps. Provide recommendations, create migration plans, and oversee implementation governance. Lead design, architecture, and integration for complex data center and network solutions. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, providing technical direction and project leadership. Support presales activities, including proposal development, presentations, and SOW creation. Facilitate consultative workshops and create clear, cohesive deliverables and documentation. Collaborate closely with business units to ensure alignment, quality, and measurable results. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 15+ years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing complex enterprise networks. 5+ years of experience delivering Strategic Assessments and consulting engagements. Proven ability to lead complex, multi-vendor networking engagements in large environments. Strong leadership, documentation, and project management skills. Advanced proficiency in Visio and professional deliverable documentation. Certifications: CCIE, or equivalent expertise (CCNP, CISSP). Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (required); Spanish and Portuguese are a plus. Availability to travel internationally as required for client engagements. Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of secure network technology design and integration. Experience in business case development, financial analysis, and ROI assessments. Experience in presales consulting or professional services environments. Strong ethics, accountability, and a proactive, collaborative leadership style. Energetic and results-oriented, with a desire to make a meaningful impact.
