Cummins is seeking a hands-on SAP Data professional who is equally comfortable analyzing data, resolving complex issues, engaging with business stakeholders, and executing migration activities. This is a critical role and requires a self-starter who takes ownership, delivers outcomes, has the credibility and experience to lead critical data activities and data quality across complex business and technical environments within a major S/4HANA transformation program.

Location – This role could be based in any major Australian city (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth)

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• Analyze legacy data sources and SAP data structures.
• Define and execute source-to-target mappings for master and transactional data.
• Perform detailed data profiling, quality assessments, and root cause analysis of data issues.
• Drive data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and remediation activities across business functions.
• Build, validate, and execute migration datasets for multiple migration cycles.
• Support ETL development, data transformation, load execution, and reconciliation activities.
• Perform hands-on data validation and resolve migration defects through to closure.
• Develop migration rules, automation framework, establish reusable components to support factory model, data quality controls, and governance standards.
• Lead data readiness assessments and provide clear reporting on migration progress and risks.
• Partner with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.
• Support mock conversions, dress rehearsals, cutover activities, and production deployment.
• Take ownership of data issues, driving resolution and ensuring delivery against program milestones.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• Proven experience delivering SAP data migration workstreams on large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge with a solid understanding of key business processes and data models.
• Experience migrating both master and transactional data across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Service Management domains.
• Build, validate, and execute migration datasets using SAP BODS, BDC, and other migration tools. 
• Strong ETL, data quality, data governance, and data management expertise.
• Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, cleansing, reconciliation, and migration execution.
• Ability to work independently, challenge stakeholders, and drive delivery in complex environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA 2021 and higher implementations and upgrades is essential.
• Exposure to SAP Business AI capabilities and SAP Joule within the S/4HANA ecosystem and leveraging AI-assisted tools for data analysis, data quality assessment, data mapping, and migration acceleration, is highly desirable and will be key differentiator for the candidate.
