The Business Intelligence (BI) team sits at the heart of this transformation - defining how success is measured, ensuring consistency across metrics, and empowering teams with trusted, self-service data. We are now looking for a Principal / Senior Data Analyst (f/m/d) to shape how Wunderflats understands performance, defines success, and drives growth through clarity, consistency, and insight. You will own company-wide metrics, performance frameworks, and business insights, ensuring every leader and team has a clear, actionable understanding of how the business is performing. This is a strategic, high-impact role that bridges data, business, and decision-making. You'll focus on metrics definition, KPI frameworks, and business interpretation, working closely with the BI Lead, domain heads, and data engineers to turn data into stories that drive confident decisions. Metric Definition & Alignment Design and maintain the company-wide KPI framework across Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance. Build hierarchies of metrics (from business drivers to operational levers) that clearly explain how performance is achieved. Partner with leadership to standardise definitions and ensure metrics are transparent, traceable, and well-documented in Notion, Tableau, and DBT. Facilitate alignment sessions to ensure a single source of truth across teams. 2. Business Analysis & Insights Partner with domain leads to uncover drivers of growth, efficiency, and customer experience. Conduct deep-dive analyses on funnels, ROl, retention, and supply-demand dynamics. Develop frameworks for LTV, CAC, margin, and efficiency tracking. Identify correlations and trends - and translate them into actionable business recommendations. 3. Dashboard Design & Delivery Build clear, narrative-driven Tableau dashboards that go beyond KPIs - explaining cause, effect, and context. Own the metric layer in Tableau and BigQuery, ensuring dashboards are reliable and self-service ready. Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to validate data transformations and model integrity. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders to define measurable success metrics for key initiatives. Mentor junior analysts and working students, raising the standard for analytical thinking and business storytelling. Represent Bl in company-wide discussions, ensuring data is a core part of every major decision.
