Role: Principal Data Engineer
Employment Type: Temporary full-time 24 months
Location: Sydney CBD, flexible working arrangements available
This role sits within the Systems Capability Directorate of Government Technology Platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Experience in tech BA role.
  • Experience in data migration into operational systems.
  • Experience in data quality, data transformation, data loading, and data reconciliation activities.
  • Solid understanding of database models.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud framework, Azure Data Factory for ETL Data Integration pipelines, Azure SQL Managed Instances, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is preferred.
  • Ability to write complex SQL code and queries.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in SAFe, Agile delivery approach and methodology.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules and manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Experience in the regulatory licensing domain would be considered an advantage.
    · Knowledge of Siebel and Amanda Data models would be considered an advantage.·
    Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $149739 base plus superannuation
