Job Description Role Summary The Statistical Operations Expert ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality data delivery by managing production processes, optimizing workflows, and maintaining governance standards. Acting as a key liaison across global teams, this role drives issue resolution, process improvements, and stakeholder collaboration. It combines technical expertise, operational excellence, and strong communication skills to support seamless execution and continuous improvement in statistical operations. Key Responsibilities Production & quality management: Set up high-quality reporting for NIQ markets and address client-raised data concerns through cross-functional collaboration. Ensure timely delivery of production cycles while maintaining defined quality standards. Execute recurring processes with precision, proactively identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Track and report KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, data accuracy) to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. Process governance & optimization: Maintain accurate process documentation, ensuring timely updates and exception tracking. Stay current on tool enhancements to apply improvements effectively. Contribute to standardization and efficiency initiatives for methods, processes, and applications. Ensure compliance with established guidelines and manage exceptions effectively. Issue resolution: Communicate promptly and transparently with stakeholders regarding errors, ensuring timely resolution. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for issues, delivering actionable insights to prevent recurrence. Stakeholder management: Partner with Client Operations, Data Operations, Global Operations, and Data Science teams to improve data quality and business processes. Collaborate across geographies in a virtual, multicultural environment to ensure seamless operations. Maintain clear, consistent communication with onshore teams and stakeholders, providing accurate project updates and addressing client queries. Provide technical and process expertise for new initiatives and support remote teams in effective project implementation. Qualifications Work Experience Experience in market research or data analytics. Familiarity with NIQ tools and methodologies. (preferred) Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement frameworks. (preferred) Education Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Core Competencies Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify root causes, interpret data, and propose actionable solutions. Process Orientation: Skilled in documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with stakeholders across geographies. Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with Client Ops, Data Ops, and Data Science teams. Problem-Solving: Expertise in RCA and proactive issue resolution. Technical Skills Preferred Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and familiarity with statistical concepts. Experience with data processing platforms and reporting tools. Understanding of automation techniques and process optimization. Knowledge of data governance principles and quality assurance standards.
