Description
At Batgroup, we’re on a mission to bring peace of mind into people’s lives and fairness into the home cleaning industry. As Europe’s leading digital platform for home cleaning services, we connect thousands of households with trusted, insured cleaning professionals. We operate with a bias for action, value radical transparency, and believe that treating our cleaning agents with profound fairness is the ultimate driver of customer satisfaction. To support the performance and scalability of our core business, we’re looking for a Principal Deputy to the CEO to provide full visibility on our day-to-day operations and ensure that execution across markets meets the company’s standards. Working closely with the CEO and operational leadership, this role acts as a control tower, monitoring performance, identifying gaps early, and driving accountability across teams. Your Mission As part of the CEO Office, you will act as the CEO’s trusted partner for operational performance, maintaining a clear and constant view of how the business is running across markets. You connect data to action, challenge assumptions, and ensure that priorities are followed through with discipline across teams. Your role is not to run operations directly, but to ensure they run as expected. You act as a control layer across the organization, identifying risks early, enforcing accountability, and driving timely execution of key initiatives. This role reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical role in safeguarding performance across service delivery, agent operations, and customer experience. Your Responsibilities Operational Oversight Monitor daily operations across all departments to ensure they align with the CEO’s operational directives. Conduct "on-the-ground" checks on operational processes and report discrepancies. Be the "early warning system": flag risks, delays, or declining KPIs before they impact the bottom line. Data, Analytics & Reporting Deep-dive into internal reports (BI, CRM, Financials) to extract actionable insights. Synthesize complex data into high-level weekly summaries for the CEO. Audit departmental reports to ensure data accuracy and transparency. Meeting Intelligence & Management Attend meetings in the CEO’s place or by his side. Record decisions, define action items, and most importantly ensure follow-through from department Managers Bridge the gap between the CEO and the operational teams to ensure clear communication. Special Projects & Travel Lead short-term "firefighting" missions or operational audits. Travel flexibly to other offices or European operational hubs to verify standards and report back. Intellectual Horsepower: You are smart, fast, and able to grasp complex business models quickly. A degree in Business, Engineering, or Data Science is a plus, but your "street smarts" and logic matter more. Data-Literate: You don't just read reports; you question them. You are an Excel/BI/tableau wizard and love finding the "why" behind the numbers. Operational Grit: You are "hands-on." You aren’t afraid to dig into the dirty details of a process to understand why it’s broken. Low Ego, High Assertiveness: You can walk into a room of senior managers, represent the CEO’s interests, and hold people accountable for their results. Resilience: You thrive in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. You are flexible, available, and ready to travel at short notice.
