The Principal Digital Transformation Lead drives the evolution of our digital capabilities across core business functions. The Principal Digital Transformation Lead owns the strategic technology roadmap, embedding digital solutions within business process to optimize operational efficiency, foster engagement, and enhance overall business performance. The lead shapes our digital journey, aligning transformation initiatives with broader business objectives to achieve a scalable and future-focused digital landscape.
Europe Solutions operates within an ambitious and highly organized zone structure focused on growth, digitization and optimization, with a strong focus on scalable global technology platforms. This role oversees digital initiatives across key business functions, collaborates with cross-functional teams. It requires navigating a complex digital ecosystem, working with a diverse group of global and regional stakeholders, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

What will you be doing:

  • Collaborate with product, technology, and business leaders to ensure digital initiatives align with overarching business objectives and deliver measurable value.
  • Lead change management initiatives to foster adoption and maximize the value of new digital solutions / Partner with cross-departmental teams to integrate diverse perspectives into digital initiatives.
  • Employ a user-centric, data-driven approach to prioritize initiatives and balance strategic goals with practical value generation
  • Develop a multi-year roadmap for continuous improvement across functions. Partner with Architecture and DevOps teams to create a technology strategy and roadmap that supports regional and global needs
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of product managers, program managers, and engineers, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Mentor team members to build digital expertise, enhancing the team’s overall capability and impact / Cultivate a collaborative, efficient team culture that supports digital maturity and transformation

What you’ll bring:

  • Fluent in English (knowledge of additional European languages is beneficial).
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in leading digital transformation initiatives – leading projects leading a complex product, program or project end to end with approx. 1mio CAPEX budget, 3-5 direct reports, managing VP level stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of Application Delivery & Methodologies (How to run Agile projects and Scrum / Waterfall / PRINCE2 / PMP or PMI), solution delivery lifecycles
  • Familiarity with modern application technology stacks and their application in digital transformation.
  • Understanding of People processes and capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy, essential for driving change and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Academic qualification or equivalent experience in a field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
