We’re looking for an experienced Senior or Principal level Ecologist to help develop and grow our Ecology practice across Queensland. Join a national team of experts in Terrestrial, Marine, and Aquatic Ecology, working on diverse and exciting projects across the Asia Pacific Region. You’ll be supported to build your professional profile through conferences, mentoring, and industry engagement, with a clear path for career development. What You’ll Do Lead and deliver ecological assessments and technical reports Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met Build and maintain strong client relationships Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members and foster a high-performance culture Support business development and strategic initiatives What We’re Looking For Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field 8+ years’ experience in ecology (consulting highly regarded) Recognised as a ‘suitably qualified person’ for protected plant surveys (highly regarded) Strong knowledge of Queensland environmental legislation and standards Experience in EPBC assessment and referral (highly regarded) Skills in flora and fauna ID and survey methodologies Proven leadership in project and team management Excellent communication, collaboration, and commercial acumen Field Requirements This role includes both office and field work.
