Title: Principal Electrical Engineer We support water customers across Australia to provide our communities with the best drinking water and wastewater treatment services, whilst innovating ways to safeguard and secure our country’s water supplies. The Opportunity This is an opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer with water industry or industrial plant experience to join our high performing water team. The role would be focusing on LV electrical systems including schematics, equipment layout, lighting, motor control centers and communications systems, SCADA, instrumentation and PLCs. You’ll be a key member of our Water team, who are delivering major capital projects and facility upgrades to water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants for QLD based water authorities along with Sydney Water's North West Treatment Hub and Victoria's South East Water, $1.5 billion, 10-year contract awarded to KBR This is an opportunity to play a key role mentoring juniors and dealing directly with the client, you will work with diverse teams leading projects across the full asset lifecycle. As a Principal Electrical Engineer in the Water team, you will have previous experience in similar complex plant/industrial environments and have completed design and technical writing. You are driven to deliver outcomes for clients as well as contribute to team success. You will have the following skills and experience: Hold an accredited Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or related) Design experience with knowledge of industry standards. strong skills in instrumentation, controls, SCADA and LV design Ability to work in engineering and design modelling teams and contribute to project to scope, budget and program. Previous experience gained within industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction or consulting. Who are we?
