ABOUT THE ROLE:

The global New Technology & Innovation (NT&I) team is at the center of audio technology support in HARMAN’s innovative products. The NT&I Denmark team is seeking a highly skilled and creative talent who has a strong background in artificial intelligent and machine learning technologies and is passionate about advancing audio technologies at HARMAN. You will join our interdisciplinary team, and your focus is on developing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for next-generation consumer audio products. In this role, you will lead research and development efforts to enhance user experience through intelligent audio processing, voice interaction, noise suppression, personalization, and contextual awareness.
You will collaborate closely with teams across R&D, product design, firmware, and UX to create scalable, high-performance AI/ML models that push the boundaries of what is possible in personal audio. This is a highly visible role that directly influences product quality and innovation at the core of our audio offerings.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML algorithms and models for audio signal processing, voice recognition, noise cancellation, and user personalization that provide competitive advantages in our products.
• Conduct applied research, and translate state-of-the-art techniques (e.g., deep learning, transformer models, on-device learning) into production-ready systems.
• Develop and automate ML pipelines to optimize and accelerate model development and deployment.
• Develop AI/ML strategies that help fulfill the company’s objectives.
• Explore emerging AI/ML techniques, tools, and frameworks, and assess their potential applications relevant to the company’s objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional units to ensure smooth progression and seamless integration of developmental technologies from inception to commercialization.
• Conduct and oversee projects and effectively communicate project status within function as well as across functions.
