• Perform and review structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete (RC), steel, and composite structures, ensuring compliance with Singapore standards (e.g., Eurocode, SS, CP, BC).
• Lead the preparation of detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for building structures.
• Resolve design and construction-related issues, providing technical support during the construction phase.
• Attend site meetings (technical, progress, and coordination) and liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities.
• Supervise and mentor a team of junior engineers and drafters, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and value engineering to optimize designs.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, recognized by the Singapore PE Board.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building structure design (residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional projects).
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE) and BIM tools (Revit, Tekla).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore or eligible for PE certification.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore building codes, BCA regulations, and authority submission processes.
• Proven project and team management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Experience in construction supervision and site coordination is highly desirable.
