Primary Duties & Responsibilities Develop and setup new manufacturing facilities/processes to extend manufacturing capacity/capability and improve technical competitiveness. Apply technical expertise and experience in chemical and/or materials engineering to support the teams of multiple specialization areas in technical problem solving, process troubleshooting and qualification of new parts or new suppliers in related fields. Provide technical support to company and department projects towards cost saving, quality improvement, and capacity/capability expansion. Education & Experience 9+ years of applicable experience in plating and chemical cleaning process at manufacturing company. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science, major in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering. Master’s Degree or Ph. D in the same field is a plus. Skills Expertise in plating and chemical cleaning processes. Experience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment management. Hands on and very direct approach to problems and demands from production. Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex/abstract issues involving external and internal priorities under time constraints. Handle special assignments promptly and professionally. Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global team environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinions, to influence and draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediate. Total Quality management experience Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.
