Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineer specializing in Dry Utilities to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering infrastructure projects, with a focus on dry utility systems. Lead and assist in the delivery of infrastructure projects, supporting project leaders to ensure successful outcomes Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for dry utility systems Develop comprehensive reports, calculations, and design documentation for various projects Conduct thorough technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues to maintain high-quality deliverables Design dry utility systems, including HV, MV, LV, Street Lighting, Landscape Lighting, Substation, and Pump Station Design Utilize Civil 3D software to prepare designs in a BIM environment Perform clash resolution using utilities modeling software such as Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, and Autodesk Civil 3D Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the design process Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and lead large-scale projects Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated with industry advancements Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field 10+ years of relevant experience in Dry Utilities engineering Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred Proven experience in designing dry utility systems, including HV, MV, LV, Street Lighting, Landscape Lighting, Substation, and Pump Station Design Proficiency in Civil 3D software for BIM environment Knowledge of clash resolution utilities modeling software, such as Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, and Autodesk Civil 3D In-depth understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to dry utilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Leadership experience in managing large-scale projects Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of dry utilities engineering Additional Information Experience Required (min) - 10 Years RTA CERTIFIED ENGINEER Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Buildings Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: zz-DoNotUse-Design and Engineering Profession: zz-DoNotUse-Infrastructure - Road utilities
