The Role

As the Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Shaping and influencing the organisation’s technical vision and engineering strategy
• Mentoring and developing senior engineers, helping raise technical capability across the team
• Driving the adoption of AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices across the organisation
• Leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives and defining scalable software architectures
• Providing technical mentorship, establishing best practices and championing engineering excellence
• Hands-on full-stack engineering, contributing across both front-end and back-end development while helping solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborating with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions
• Influencing hiring decisions and helping shape a high‑performance engineering culture
