Description

We require an individual with experience in some or all of the following areas to fulfil our expanding portfolio of work from public and private sector organisations: Highway/ Transport infrastructure design, low/ medium cost highway design schemes. Public realm Design- Footways/ Cycleways, Design of Pedestrian/ Cycle crossings. Design of Bus Corridors/ Park and Ride schemes. Junction Design – Priority/ Signalised/ Roundabout Junctions. Road Signs and Markings design. Parking studies/ strategies. Technical report for scheme appraisals. Vehicle Swept path analysis. Basic Knowledge on Traffic Signals. Project Management – Design Decision Registers/ Design Risk Registers

Responsibilities

The Principal Engineer will be responsible for designing various highway and transport infrastructure projects, including public realm designs and junctions. They will also manage project documentation and technical reports for scheme appraisals.
