Nutanix is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Engineer to drive the technical vision, architectural strategy, and innovation roadmap for NCM. This is a pivotal role that directly shapes the evolution of our cloud management platform in one of the most dynamic markets in enterprise technology. You’ll lead complex architecture efforts, guide product scalability and resiliency, and integrate cutting-edge capabilities that support NCM’s growth as a market leader in hybrid multicloud management.

• Architectural Vision: Define and execute the technical roadmap for Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM), aligning innovations with product goals and customer needs.
• Technology Innovation: Research, identify, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance automation, observability, security, and financial operations (FinOps) capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with product management, UX, and engineering teams to develop cohesive solutions that meet market demands.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and encouraging professional growth.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment to ensure reliable product delivery.
• Performance Metrics: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for NCM’s success, measuring impact on scalability and reliability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams and stakeholders.
• First-Year Objective: Evaluate and enhance existing systems for improved scalability and performance, positioning NCM as a leader in cloud management technology within the first year.
