Description
The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve. The Opportunity This pivotal role involves setting strategic priorities, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners to achieve and exceed quality and production targets. What You Will Do Set team priorities in alignment with company and department goals, ensuring all efforts contribute to overall success. Generate and present comprehensive reports, including problem analysis, for key metrics such as Yield, O/S (Out of Spec), Yield Gap, Site-to-Site Gap, LRR (Lot Rejection Rate), and CI (Continuous Improvement). Conduct regular meetings and foster strong relationships with internal/external cross-functional teams, suppliers, and hardware vendors. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects within budget. Continuously monitor, improve, and strive to meet/exceed targets for critical operational metrics including Yield, O/S, Yield Gap, Site-to-Site Gap, LRR, and CI. Manage projects related to Manufacturing Process (MP), New Product Introduction (NPI), Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP), and Process Controls, with a focus on cost savings, reduction, and avoidance. Actively pursue quality improvements, driving down CAR (Corrective Action Request) rates, leading 8D corrective actions, and participating in audits. Proactively work in close collaboration with suppliers on production operation and execution activities, providing guidance and assistance. Lead a team of OSAT Test Support Engineers, delegating tasks, coaching, and mentoring junior engineers and supplier engineers. Define and address the team's training needs for personal and professional development. What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical) or Computer Science, or a related technical field. Demonstrated expertise in Test Operations, Test Engineering, or Subcontracting within the semiconductor industry. Proven leadership and people management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. Solid understanding and practical experience with relevant Test Equipment and adherence to International Quality and Operational Standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001). Strong proficiency in project management, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Quality Core Tools). Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize limited resources. Unwavering commitment to quality-centric execution and continuous improvement. Proven strategic and tactical planning capabilities. Exceptional collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members. Strong business acumen and awareness of the broader industry landscape. Why Allegro? Join Allegro and become part of a team where your contributions truly matter.
