About the Job: Kent is looking for a Principal / Deputy Chief Engineer - Piping Stress to be based in Mumbai / Vadodara   Skills and Responsibilities: In this role you will undertake the following duties * Should have sound knowledge in pipe stress analysis. * Capable of working as Lead Stress Engineer for multiple jobs. * Familiar with preparing microplans and monitoring the progress and productivity of the project. * Preparation of stress specifications, pipe support standard specifications, critical line list etc. * Perform pipe stress analysis of lines connected to critical equipments like centrifugal and reciprocating compressors/pumps, turbines, jacketted piping, fired heaters, reboilers etc. * Perform stress analysis for pipelines as per ASME B31.4/31.8 codes. * Perform stress analysis of above ground and underground metallic and non-metallic piping. * Dynamic analysis of piping system in Caesar II using modal, response spectrum, time history methods. * WRC 107/297 checks. * Perform pipe stress analysis for brownfield jobs. * Flange leakage checks as per various options in Caesar II. * Selection of spring hanges, snubbers, struts, expansion joints and preparation of their datasheets and conducting their TBA.  * Provide stress markups and support loads to piping layout and structural team. * Preparation of stress reports as per client requirements. * Review and signing off piping isometrics considering flexibility and supporting. * Review of drawings and datasheets for vendors. * Allocates work to engineers and provides guidance for the technical development of the team. * Co-ordinating with client/vendor/inter disciplines  * Working as per the quality and safety requirement standards. * Adopting a flexible and open approach towards the needs of projects.   In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:  Qualification / Certification Masters/Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering from Indian University (UGC approved) or from Overseas University. Software tools: * Computer Applications: Windows operating systems. * Design Software- CAESAR-II is a must.
