As the Senior Principal Engineer, Solutions Architecture, you will be responsible for summaryProvides technical and/or (business consultative) services during the pre-sales and/or post-sales cycle. May provide technical or business analytical leadership for specific product groups or business objectives in order to engage the customer or implement and maintain an engagement.Accountabilities• Consults with external customers and implements new IT solutions and/or replaces existing IT solutions• Develops and offers integrated, end-to-end IT solutions that support the customer’s strategic, operational and financial goals and positions Dell for rapidly growing business• Responsible for translating the client’s business and technical requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large, complex technology solutions and integrating architecture. Responsibilities Knowledge & Application Applies broad expertise and knowledge in highly specialized fields or several related disciplines Leads and contributes to development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways Problem solving Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles Requires conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Accountable for results, which may impact the entire function Experience & Qualification -Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or a related field (preferred). -12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a -Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience -Proven leadership experience in consulting or related fields. -In-depth understanding of industry requirements and business environments. -Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. -Fluency in written and spoken English. -Strong analytical and reporting skills. -Proficiency in consulting tools, project management tools, and solution design frameworks.
