Principal Environmental Scientist - Contaminated Land Management We have an opportunity for a Principal Contaminated Land Specialist to join our team of environmental scientists, either in Wellington or Christchurch. This opportunity is for someone with extensive experience in the contaminated land discipline with a keen eye for technical detail and a passion for training others. We work across diverse multi-disciplinary projects in infrastructure, community development and construction, as such the ideal candidate would also be someone highly competent in the development of bids, tenders and contracts within a consultancy setting. About you: * Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental sciences or Geology * Minimum 15 - 20 years' experience in environmental consulting with at least 15 in Contaminated Land * Experienced in the design and implementation of robust field programs, and reporting. With capability in soil, groundwater, surface water and ground gas including PFAS. Responsibilities
This role involves serving as a Principal Contaminated Land Specialist, focusing on the technical detail of contaminated land projects and actively engaging in the training and upskilling of junior staff members. The specialist will also be highly competent in developing bids, tenders, and contracts within a consultancy setting across diverse multi-disciplinary projects.
