• End-to-end project responsibility.  You will lead projects at leading logistics service providers, freight forwarders, contract logistics companies and CEP service providers with a focus on operations – from network and location strategy to sales and capacity planning, and warehouse, transport and storage optimization.
• Substantive focus.  You develop robust solutions in at least two of the following areas: network design, sales and capacity planning, automation & digitalization (especially digital twins), transport management, logistics IT (TMS/WMS) or lean operations – and translate them into measurable customer results.
• Business Development.  You have a strong network of decision-makers and experts within the logistics industry. You independently acquire new projects, expand your own customer portfolio, and further develop our operations offerings (e.g., sustainable supply chain, automation, resilience, operational efficiency improvement).
• Leadership.  You lead project teams, assume disciplinary responsibility for employees, and further develop our community in logistics and operations.
• Appearance at the C-level.  You advise the board and management of our clients on an equal footing – with precise content, sound commercial advice, and persuasive communication skills.

• Experience.  At least 8 years of professional experience, including several years in a leading strategy or logistics/operations consulting firm – ideally complemented by industry experience at a logistics service provider or manufacturing company.
• Professional profile.  Demonstrable project successes in operations and logistics across the aforementioned topics. You are familiar with the key drivers, metrics, and pitfalls in implementation.
• Sales.  You have already independently acquired projects and built customer relationships.
• Leadership.  Initial leadership experience in a project or line context is a prerequisite – a desire for more is mandatory.
• Education.  Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, supply chain management or comparable; doctorate or MBA is an advantage.
