JOB SUMMARY

We are an ambitious startup, backed by Innovate UK and private investors, seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a senior position at an early stage, with significant responsibility for shaping our technical and R&D operations as the company grows.
This role includes company share options and an initial early-stage salary, with rapid growth potential as we move into the revenue stage. Travel to partner sites across the UK will be required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in AutoCAD. CFD modelling experience is desirable.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Solid understanding of fluid mechanics and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Design, analyse, and optimise hydraulic systems across diverse applications.
• Lead engineering projects, working with project managers and partners to deliver on scope, time, and budget.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance testing.
• Construction/installation, ensuring compliance and functionality.
• Produce clear technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor and help grow a high-performing engineering team.
