Job Description We are seeking an experienced water professional to provide specialist expertise in surface and underground water management and modelling. This role supports both operational delivery and environmental planning, helping ensure strong water governance and compliance across our operations. This role will work closely with site-based operational and environmental teams, provide technical leadership, and help embed best practice water monitoring and management aligned to the OceanaGold Corporation (OGC)Water Standard. Key responsibilities Review, maintain, and continuously improve site-wide and operational water balance models Provide technical advice to support operational and strategic decision-making and planning Partner with operational and environmental teams to support compliance with the OGC Water Standard Contribute to water-related reporting, analysis, and assurance activities Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to build capability across sites Drive consistent best practice in water monitoring, management, and modelling Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or related discipline. Extensive experience in water modelling, monitoring, and management across complex operational environments. Demonstrated senior‑level leadership within a technical or specialist discipline. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability, with experience working across multidisciplinary internal and external groups. Proven ability to lead, coordinate, or work effectively within multifaceted technical teams. Well‑developed relationship‑building skills, with a track record of knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaborative problem‑solving. Advanced capability in water modelling software, with proficiency in GoldSim required.
