ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Principal Inspector – Health, Risk and Compliance, you’ll be at the forefront of improving health, safety, and compliance in the NSW mining industry.
You’ll lead a team of inspectors and experts, engaging collaboratively with other jurisdictions and providing expert guidance to ensure continuous improvement in regulatory outcomes.
From ensuring proactive compliance programs meet key regulatory objectives to ensuring our data and reporting systems are being used wisely, you’ll be making a real impact.
Your role involves overseeing complex projects and regulatory processes related to health, human factors, and psychosocial issues, and providing strategic advice to the Chief Inspector.
This job is all about being proactive in managing risks and preventing incidents, while continually pushing for better health and safety standards in the industry.
