For more information, please visit: www.sattva.co.in The Opportunity We are hiring a Principal to lead Fundraising Strategy & Implementation Advisory for nonprofit organisations. This is a senior role combining strategic fundraising design, advisory delivery, stakeholder leadership, and commercial accountability. As practice lead, you will: Architect fundraising strategies for nonprofits, Strengthen funder readiness, Shape narratives and programme roadmaps for capital raising, Build donor portfolios, And help organisations unlock philanthropic and CSR capital at scale. This role carries a commercial expectation of ₹10 Cr in Year 1, with the mandate to build this into a standalone SBU. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Growth (₹10 Cr Target) Shape fundraising advisory proposals, budgets, delivery models, and pricing Convert opportunities into multi-year nonprofit engagements Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of fundraising advisory clients Engage CSR leadership, foundations, and family offices 2. Lead Fundraising Strategy & Delivery Architect structured fundraising strategies tailored to nonprofit scale ambitions Anchor: Donor segmentation Pursuit mapping Readiness scorecards Due diligence preparedness Narrative alignment Ensure advisory designs translate into practical plans 3. Ensure Quality & Build Capability Review strategy designs, donor materials, readiness frameworks, and pitch content Mentor teams in fundraising research, positioning, donor outreach strategy, and commercial modelling Build internal standards, frameworks, templates, and fundraising intelligence 4. Strengthen Practice Knowledge Stay abreast of CSR, philanthropic, and grant-making trends in India, Asia Build intellectual capital on fundraising systems, governance, compliance, and donor alignment 5. Engage Senior Stakeholders Build trusted advisory relationships with nonprofit CEOs, fundraising heads, CSR leaders, foundation boards, and family philanthropy offices Present insights that inform fundraising decisions, strategy pivots, and multi-year donor partnerships Desired Profile 15+ years in fundraising strategy advisory, CSR-capital strategy, impact advisory, grant-making leadership, or philanthropic practice design Demonstrable knowledge of: CSR decision cycles Philanthropic capital patterns Funder motivation and diligence triggers Programme design logic and cost structures Proven ability to influence senior nonprofit leadership Comfort balancing delivery, revenue, and practice building Added Advantage Strong network with CSR heads, foundations, family offices, and donors Record of converting relationships into structured fundraising advisory programmes Success in the Role ₹10 Cr revenue delivered through fundraising advisory in Year 1 Repeat fundraising engagements with anchor nonprofits Tangible improvements in nonprofit fundraising strategy, donor readiness, and capital access Advisory line stands up as a self-sustaining SBU Team, Frameworks, IP, and sector credibility Why Sattva?
