JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically capable Infrastructure Lead to join our Resources + Industry team to support a world-class underground block cavemining project in Canada. This senior-level position will play a critical role in the design and execution of surface and underground infrastructure systems, particularly those associated with high-capacity materials handling operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the most technically challenging and strategically significant underground mining transitions in North America, working with a global consultancy that values innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of critical mine infrastructure packages for a large-scale block cave operation.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across a range of underground systems including:
  • Dewatering systems and staged pumping stations
  • Ventilation systems, including refrigeration/heating and air-handling
  • Raw water and fire water distribution, including break tanks and pressure reducing stations
  • UG workshops, fueling bays and heavy vehicle maintenance infrastructure
  • Mass filtration and screening systems for underground water management
  • Vertical and hydraulic plug dams for geotechnical control and water management
  • Explosives magazines and associated compliance infrastructure
  • Work closely with other technical leads in materials handling, civil, geotechnical, and electrical disciplines to ensure integrated and constructible design solutions.
  • Participate in all project phases from early concept and trade-off studies through to detailed design, procurement, and execution.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer within the team, while upholding the highest standards of safety and engineering practice.
  • Act as the primary client-facing lead for infrastructure packages, managing scope, technical decisions, and contributing to strategic project planning.
