SAIC is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Hanahan, SC. The Principal Mechanical Engineer Will: * Develop static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages * Review performance specifications and continuously track all metrics to ensure prototype designs and systems are in accordance with the customer's needs and requirements * Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs * Utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software to ensure designs meet all anticipated load and vibration profiles * Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication * Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation. Responsibilities
