Stantec’s Buildings Mechanical team in India Global Delivery Center provides specialized engineering services in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Sustainability, and Acoustics design. The team collaborates closely with Stantec offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand, supporting the successful delivery of projects worldwide. Primary Purpose of Job: Contribute to Stantec’s business objectives by providing technical and people leadership and subject matter expertise across projects within the Buildings Business Line. Develop and strengthen trusted client and stakeholder relationships to support business growth while consistently delivering high-quality project outcomes. Act as or support, the Project Technical Lead (PTL) to ensure projects meet both client requirements and Stantec’s standards for technical excellence, quality, and delivery. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to multidisciplinary teams comprising HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Sustainability, and Acoustics engineers, as well as CAD Designers, enabling the successful delivery of projects for global regions. Support the Pune Senior Leadership Team in strategic initiatives including resource planning, capability development, engineering process improvement, operational excellence, and long-term business growth planning. Key Accountabilities: •    Provide project leadership and ensure the successful delivery of projects while meeting technical quality standards, schedule commitments, and budget objectives. •    Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent project performance. •    Produce and review calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solution •    Develop innovative skillsets to help STANTEC stay ahead of the competition. •    Carry out the role of task manager on assigned projects to deliver the agreed outputs on budget, on time and to quality standards.   •    Coordinate with colleagues on global project delivery, proposals, and resourcing requirements. •    Undertake the role of senior designer/reviewer, applying technical expertise in areas of excellence. •    Carry out quality design checks and reviews of others work as required. •    Maintain and grow the skill base of staff and team strength in line with the Strategic plan •    Complete all work in line with STANTEC Core Values and in accordance with the STANTEC Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.  •    Travelling off-shore (secondments) to other Stantec global offices: for durations ranging from 3 to 6 months or as required. •    Other duties as requested from time to time by the Team lead and Business line lead.    Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting.
