Wood is currently recruiting for Principal Mechanical Engineer with significant experience in the Oil, Gas and/or Petrochemical industries in both operating site support and EPC roles. Candidates shall have experience of working closely with clients and vendors. Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world. Contributing to the delivery of Engineering and Operational excellence through: Executing assigned scopes of work. Supporting and supervising task delegation to team. Providing discipline expertise to the business. Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development. Provide discipline support to the business. Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports. Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution. Relevant experience in Static Equipment and/or Package Equipment management are preferred. Ability to work on own initiative and highlight areas of production risk due to equipment vulnerability. Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports.
