We see the world through a Future Ready® lens, fuelled by a shared commitment to making a positive impact—one project and community at a time.   Principal Mechanical Engineer - Wellington   Fantastic opportunity for a commercially and technically focused Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Wellington.    Support the Building Services management team in actively promoting WSP capability where opportunities exist, with the aim of creating and extending income streams for the wider WSP team.    As a key member of our national team, you’ll lead preparation of bids and proposals, complete project profiles to support future work winning opportunities, and assist in maintaining capability statements to assist with future work winning opportunities.    Our Building Services Mechanical team works across commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, residential developments, transport infrastructure, data‑driven environments and large public‑use buildings.    You’d work on everything from HVAC and chilled‑water systems to ventilation, smoke control, medical gases, plumbing and drainage, acoustic and vibration design, and integration with other building services.    The work spans conceptual design, detailed modelling, documentation, equipment selection, cross‑discipline coordination, site inspections and commissioning.    You’d be exposed to both new builds and complex refurbishment or upgrade projects - offering significant technical variety and the chance to make a meaningful impact on building performance, sustainability and occupant comfort.   About you:   * Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical (or equivalent)  * CPEng  * Minimum of 12 years’ professional experience in Building Services or a related discipline.  * Strong market connections - particularly in Health, Private Developers, Local Government, and / or Data Centres * Current, clean drivers license     Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
