Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the transformation and modernization of OSS platforms for provisioning and managing customers on the Fiber Broadband (FBB) network.
Define technical solutions to problems through reasoned application of software technology while leveraging AI, GenAI and ML capabilities.
Focus on and provide solutions for Resiliency and Exception Handling of OSS systems.
Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of new capabilities, including hardware and software that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
Research and recommend open-source technologies and AI/GenAI solutions to improve or optimize the current systems/processes.
Performs frontend/backend design and development utilizing service-oriented technologies, cloud computing, secure networking and web services.
Serves as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a complex production environment which has new and legacy systems.
The candidate is expected to work independently (and as a team member if needed), bring a higher level of intellectual curiosity and advanced reasoning, and be an innovative problem solver.
