JOB SUMMARY

Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industry with the best silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products in the world. As Principle MEMS Production Engineer, you will use your experience, technical and creative problem-solving skills to lead the development of a highly automated production system that ensures supply continuity and improves efficiency. In addition, your system will enable the simulation of production outputs and features a capacity planning tool. Your responsibility is to ensure supply continuity through this system by using automated monitoring of the entire informational chain from forecast > PO > foundry WIP > Wafer sort monitoring > final shipped MEMS products. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS or PhD in MEMS, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent. PhD preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.
  • Strong software and programming skills (Python, C++, Excel automation, JMP, databases, web, visualization, graphics).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in MEMS, semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with MEMS fabrication and MEMS test.
  • Experience working with automated testing, wafer probing and instrumentation.
  • Experience with planning/project planning (MES, ERP, Monday.com, Smartsheets).
  • Background in statistical analysis and statistical process control (JMP, Spotfire).
  • Experience working with database calls and timeseries data.
  • Excellent critical thinking and strong organizational skills.
  • Clear and concise scientific communication.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for scheduling and managing MEMS wafer sort operations.
  • Ensure the required MEMS volumes to be produced at the MEMS foundry and in MEMS test meet the demand.
  • Works with the MEMS foundry manager and test floor manager to ensure wafer orders and probe capacity match the forecast.
  • Provides weekly targets in MEMS wafer sort to the test floor manager per product and reports the outcome through live dashboards.
  • Ensures weekly WIP reports from the MEMS foundry match the required lot starts and cycle time to meet our demand.
  • Drives the automation of MEMS production planning activities by working with the software. development team, so that the aforementioned activities are eventually handled by software with minimum manual intervention and upkeeping.
  • Will establish a web-based transparent and easily accessible dashboard-based MEMS operations-page showing displaying all relevant supply and production metrics.Will develop a production output modeling tool that can be leveraged to validate supply commitments, as well as capacity planning.
