  • CAESES software for our hull development and hull optimisation
  • CFD-tools (Star CCM+, LEMMA/NiceFlow, OpenFoam or the like)
  • DP/Seakeeping analyses
  • Marine Operations
  • Hydrodynamic analyses of offshore structures
Responsibilities
  • Execute and follow up of all project hydrodynamics (concept design, basic design, construction and delivery)
  • Development of hull lines and propulsion layout for new projects
  • Calculate, analyze and document the hydrodynamic properties of the ship
  • Prediction and verification of vessel performance, including effect of energy efficiency measures
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics for resistance and propulsion of ships
  • Planning and follow-up of model tests and sea trials
  • Sparring partner towards Yards, Customers, Authorities and Class societies
  • You will be essential in developing and maintaining our best practices and work processes together with the hydrodynamic team.
  • You will be essential in developing our deliverables and drive competence development of the hydrodynamic team
  • Support business development and joint industry project
