Job Description About The Role As a Senior Principal Network Planning Engineer in the Integrated Water Planning Team you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the delivery of bespoke projects designing, planning, and managing water and wastewater networks to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery for clients across Australia and the world. We are seeking a Senior Principal Planning Engineer to join out QLD Integrated Water Planning Team. In this role you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the assessment and strategic planning of water supply and sewerage networks to manage growth, compliance, network performance, and renewals. Your work will include master planning, options assessments, feasibility studies, and business case preparation, while supporting the growth of the team through active business development. The role will require the successful applicant to: Lead and provide technical direction on complex water, wastewater and recycled water projects from strategic planning through to functional design. Supervise and coordinate project teams to meet objectives and client expectations Facilitate client and stakeholder workshops Provide technical mentorship to junior staff members Build and maintain strong client relationships Proactively maintain effective networks and relevant industry relationships to gain cooperation in meeting business and client outcomes Qualifications About You You are a recognised industry professional with a strong background in water supply and wastewater management. Ideally you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering Chartered Status (CPEng, RPEQ or equivalent) 10+ years of experience, particularly within: Water & Wastewater Network Planning and Design Water Supply Security Water or Wastewater Treatment Planning and Design Technical expertise in hydraulic principles modelling including experience with on or more the following software packages is advantageous: InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWorks ICM WaterCAD/CEMS, SewerCAD/CEMS Established profile within industry associations e.g. Active involvement in shaping the industry. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality objectives are consistently achieved The Benefits Competitive remuneration and benefits.
