Principal Physicist (MR-Linac Planning) London: The Harley Street Clinic (and across the hospital group) Full time: 37.5 hours per week Permanent Salary: Competitive + a range of flexible benefits This is a fantastic opportunity to join HCA Healthcare’s new MR-Linac service, as the Principal Physicist (MR-Linac Planning). An Elekta Unity MR-Linac has been installed and is due to go live in Q2 2026. The Principal Physicist (MR-Linac Planning) is the Medical Physics Expert responsible for developing and overseeing the online adaptive treatment planning process on the Elekta Unity MR-Linac. In this role you will work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide cutting edge adaptive radiotherapy. Duties: Management of all technical aspects of medical physics and planning activities as it pertains to the MR Linac Responsible for the core planning activities within the MRL team Implement service developments across MR Linac Support in the appropriate course of action in highly complex situations which may impact the service delivery Providing effective clinical leadership for staff working in the MRL service At HCA UK we care about what you care about. Responsibilities
