JOB DESCRIPTION

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our award-winning planning service. We are looking for a Principal Planner to join our Strategic Sites and NSIP/Major Infrastructure Delivery Team. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work on planning projects on our strategic growth sites across Greater Cambridge, including major mixed use, life science and residential developments.
We are looking for motivated and well organised individuals to enhance our growing team. You should have sound knowledge of planning legislation and procedures, and demonstrable experience of working within a Development Management and/or Planning Policy environment, including dealing with major, complex planning applications - ideally within the Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) project management framework. Candidates should have great communication and customer service skills, as well as being a team player.
