We are currently seeking a Principal Planning Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi. About the mission we offer you: The Principal Planning Engineer provides expert-level planning and scheduling leadership for complex offshore projects. The role is responsible for establishing planning strategy, governing schedule standards, and supporting senior management in critical project decision-making. Key responsibilities * Lead planning and scheduling strategy across major offshore project scopes. * Oversee development, integration, and control of master schedules. * Review project performance, trends, and schedule risk exposure. * Provide expert guidance on recovery plans, delays, and schedule impacts. * Support project leadership in milestone planning, forecasting, and decision support. * Review contractor schedules, claims, and interface impacts at a senior level. * Ensure planning procedures, reporting standards, and controls are effectively implemented. * Coach and support planning teams across projects. Experience required * 18+ years of experience in project planning and controls. * Extensive offshore project experience is mandatory. * Strong experience in leading complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules. Required skills * Expert-level Primavera P6 knowledge. * Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills. * Deep understanding of project controls, claims, and delay analysis. * Excellent communication and executive reporting skills.
