Principal Platform Architect (EviSmart Lab Automation) First Principles Engineer (Squad CTO) Focus: Workflow Codification, Automation Stability, and Scalability Mindset: Scalability-Driven and Reliability-Obsessed. You are the Technical Steward of the lab's digital workflow. Your primary function is to build the stable, simple software backbone that enables the conversion of manual labor into scalable SaaS features (Case Downloaders, Case Entry, Case QC, LMS). You build for maximum volume capacity while adhering to the principle of avoiding premature optimization. Accountability: You are the final technical authority and are solely accountable for the stability and integrity of the automated workflow software that manages cases inside the lab. Failure that leads to operational stoppage or data errors in the lab is your direct responsibility. Core Responsibilities: Technical Steward of Automation: Act as the Technical Steward for the entire EviSmart Lab Automation platform, setting the code and integration standards for all included components (Case Downloaders, Entry, QC, LMS, Digitizer). Player-Coach Execution: Act as the Player-Coach, personally coding the most complex automation and integration services (e.g., interfacing with physical digitizer hardware or legacy LMS systems), while mentoring the team on technical standards and error handling. Workflow Codification: Design and build the foundational backend services and logic that integrate and govern the entire automated case flow, ensuring seamless and error-free data transfer between all components. API Integrity: Own the stability and performance of the internal APIs that allow the Hive (AI-Master Agent) to interact with the lab case data, making sure the AI training efforts are fed clean, consistent data. Quality Gates: Integrate technical quality gates within the workflow itself to prevent flawed data or processes from moving to the next step, thereby reducing the operational rework rate. Primary Outcome KPI: Automated Workflow Integrity Rate: The percentage of lab cases that successfully pass through the full EviSmart automated software workflow without requiring technical intervention due to software failure. Goal: Achieve Automated Workflow Integrity Rate at 99.0% or higher. Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a senior/technical leadership role (e.g., Staff Engineer, Team Lead). Technical Stewardship: Proven track record as a Player-Coach: both hands-on coding of core systems and successful technical mentorship of engineering teams. Domain Expertise: Deep, specific expertise in the relevant domain's core technology (C#, React JS, Azure, Cloud) Scalability & Quality: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-volume, mission-critical systems with a relentless focus on stability, measured by error rates and uptime. Mindset: Strong adherence to First Principles thinking; proven ability to avoid premature optimization while building for long-term scalability and technical elegance.
